Eugene A. Parzych, of Matteson Corners Rd., Holland, died Friday July 12, 2019 in Fiddler's Green Manor, Springville at the age of 80.

He was born August 28, 1938 in Buffalo, New York a son of the late Walter and Florence (nee Antonou) Pazyk. He was a graduate of West Seneca High School and worked as a gas dispatcher for 40 years with National Fuel Gas Company in Marilla.

He was an avid sportsman and outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He was also was an avid conservationist and volunteered with the DEC stocking streams and waterways with fish. He was a proponent of windmill energy.

He is survived by his children - Lori (Matthew) Clapper of North Collins, Scott Parzych of Glenwood, Connie Lore of Orchard Park; a granddaughter - Sara (Joel) Mason; four great-grandchildren and his longtime special companion - Roxana Waters.

There are no calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

So sorry to hear of Gene's passing. When I was at the Arcade Herald I could count on a good visit from him two or three times a year. Always gave me something to think about. May he rest in peace. - Carole Jones
