James L. Rogers, of Genesee Rd., Springville, died Friday July 27, 2018 in Buffalo General Hospital, Buffalo at the age of 67.
He was born October 25, 1950 in Roaring Springs, PA a son of the late James V. and Phyllis (nee College) Rogers. He was a graduate of Riverside High School in Buffalo and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a caster at American Brass in Buffalo and enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching golf.
He is survived by his wife - Rebecca (nee Braun) Rogers whom he married in 1976; children - James "Charlie" Rogers of Springville, Julee (Jeffrey) Lillis of Springville and Randy (Kayla) Rogers of Springville; six grandchildren - Christianna, Marley, Kyra, Sawyer, Zayne and Greyson; siblings - Max (Debbie) Rogers of West Seneca, Curtis (Fran) Rogers of Buffalo, Susan (Jack) Czerwinski of Tonawanda, Donna (Johnny) Mihalics of Buffalo and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers - Robert Alan and Lawrence Rogers.
There are no calling hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
