Obituary for Karen A. Miller

Karen A. Miller (nee Carter) of E. Concord, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017 at the Bertrand Chaffee Hospital at the age of 64.

She was born January 15, 1953 in Lackawanna - a daughter to Alice Roth of Springville and the late Richard Roth.

She worked as a classroom aide for The Children's League in Springville. She was a member of St. Aloysius Church and loved spending time with her children at work, gardening, and decorating for the holidays.

Karen married her husband, Ronald Miller, at St. Aloysius Church on July 19, 1975.

She is survived by her husband: Ronald Miller of E. Concord; her children: Ronald M. Miller of E. Concord and Rachel E. (David) Watz of Springville; siblings: Kathy (Mike) Nasal of Auburn; twin brother Kevin Carter of West Seneca; Richard (Sally) Roth of West Valley; Randy Roth of Springville; Robert (Laura) Roth of Cattaraugus; a sister-in-law: Georgeine Carter of West Seneca; also survived by two grandchildren: Trevor and Jace; several nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, and a brother- Michael "Mickey" Carter.

Friends may call Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Smith-Weismantel Funeral Home- 271 E. Main St., Springville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, October 12 at 10 AM at St. Aloysius Church, Springville. Burial in Fairview Cemetery.
